Manar Academy: Meet & Greet

Event Details

Alhamdulillah, with the grace and mercy of Allah (SWT), we soon begin our second academic year at Manar Academy. Last year was a very successful beginning, and we are deeply grateful for the trust, support, and dedication of our parents, staff, and students. At the same time, we must acknowledge that we are still in the process of building the foundations of our school.

We kindly ask you to join us in this mission not as mere observers, but as partners. Constructive feedback is always welcome and will help us grow stronger. But we ask that you replace destructive criticism with solutions, encouragement, and collaboration. Together, we are raising our children in this community, and together we are laying the foundation for an institution that will protect, guide, and empower generations of Muslims in Kingston and beyond, Insha’Allah.

Allah (SWT) reminds us with a beautiful parable:

“Do you not see how Allah presents a parable? A good word is like a good tree—its root is firmly fixed and its branches reach to the sky. It produces its fruit at all times, by the permission of its Lord.”
(Surah Ibrahim 14:24–25)

And the Prophet said:

“The most beloved of people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to others.”

Let us begin this year with faith, unity, and hope; working hand in hand to raise children who are confident in their deen, excellent in their studies, and ready to serve as role models for future generations. May Allah (SWT) bless our efforts, guide our steps, and grant success in both this world and the Hereafter.

Together, we build not just a school, but a legacy.
